OnlyFans remains one of the most well-known subscription-based content platforms, offering tools such as chat, blog-style posting, storylines, subscriptions, and a referral program for creators. However, my overall experience in 2026 has been extremely disappointing. With a one-star rating, I cannot ignore the ongoing frustrations that have shaped my time on the platform.

As an adult content creator, my updated experience with OnlyFans has unfortunately declined rather than improved. While the platform still presents a clean interface and a recognizable brand presence, the reality behind the scenes has been discouraging. My experience with support has not improved. In fact, it remains one of the platform’s weakest points. When problems arise, resolving them can be slow and frustrating. For creators who rely on their accounts for income, delays and unclear communication create unnecessary stress. A platform of this size should offer stronger, more responsive support for its creators.
Income Tracking and Payments
The income dashboard is relatively easy to navigate, and tracking earnings inside the platform is straightforward. OnlyFans offers payouts through Direct Bank Transfer (IBAN), Paxum, and Cosmo Payment. These are solid options, particularly for European creators. However, smooth tracking does not automatically translate into a positive overall experience. When combined with broader frustrations, even a clear payout overview cannot outweigh the larger concerns I have with the platform.
Business Model Transparency
The business model itself is simple: creators keep 80% of their earnings, and the platform retains 20%. This structure is easy to understand and widely known. In theory, it is transparent and competitive. In practice, transparency alone is not enough to build trust when other aspects of the platform feel lacking.
Recommendation to Other Content Creators
Based on my updated experience in 2026, I cannot recommend OnlyFans to other content creators. While it remains a major name in the industry and may work for creators who already have a large, loyal audience, my personal experience has been overwhelmingly negative. For new creators, especially, relying solely on this platform could lead to frustration and disappointment.
