Overall Experience
YourVids has become one of the platforms I enjoy exploring as a content creator. It has a pleasant, light-coloured layout that feels welcoming for both creators and fans, along with plenty of options for selling different types of content.
I can offer subscription plans, individual content through my store, and bundles combining several items. The platform also supports physical and digital products and services, plus a dedicated area for custom video requests.
During my first few months, I experienced a surprising amount of traffic from visitors around the world. Unfortunately, most of those visitors haven't become paying customers. Nevertheless, I've made some sales and successfully received a payout, which is encouraging.
I also appreciate the Creator Contest and Fan Leaderboard, which add another dimension to the platform.
What keeps me interested is the combination of traffic, selling options and ongoing platform updates. I regularly add new content and message users who are online to introduce myself.
My sales aren't particularly frequent, but they aren't nonexistent either. That's why I'm giving YourVids 3/5 stars. I see potential here, even if my actual earnings haven't yet matched the amount of attention my content receives.
Features and Functionality
YourVids offers several features I genuinely enjoy, especially its dark theme, which provides a nice alternative to the light-coloured interface.
One of my favourites is the Fan Leaderboard. It helps me identify bigger spenders so I can reach out to them personally. Some fan profiles also reveal their fetish interests, which can help me understand what content they might enjoy.
I particularly like creating discounted bundles around specific fetishes. The platform also provides analytics showing how many views my content receives.
Another advantage is the ability to import content from ManyVids and IWantClips.
However, I miss having a webcam streaming option. As someone who also works as a webcam model, that would be a welcome addition.
Customer Service and Support
YourVids has a HELP button near the bottom of its menu, where I can access the FAQ and find an email address for contacting support directly.
My experience with email support has been mixed.
When I receive a response, it usually arrives quickly, which I appreciate. However, not all the emails I've sent have received an answer.
That inconsistency is something I would like to see improved.
I also miss having a live support chat. Being able to ask questions directly through the platform would be particularly convenient when dealing with creator-related issues.
For now, email remains the support method I've personally used.
Income Tracking and Payments
I find YourVids' financial administration quite practical. The Earnings section includes an overview of my activity, along with separate information about payouts, sales, customers, contest prizes, referrals and invoices.
Having these details organised in one place makes it easier for me to follow what's happening with my account.
At the time of my review, payouts were available weekly with a minimum threshold of $100.
The listed payout methods include Cosmo Payment, Direct Deposit (ACH), International Bank Transfer and Bitcoin.
I've already received a payment without problems, which is a positive personal experience. However, one successful payout doesn't establish how reliably every future payment will be processed.
My sales are still occasional rather than frequent, despite the considerable traffic I receive.
Business Model Transparency
YourVids offers several ways to earn, including subscriptions, individual content sales, bundles, custom videos and physical or digital products and services.
I appreciate the variety because it allows me to experiment with different content and customer interests.
The Creator Contest and Fan Leaderboard also encourage activity, while the Earnings section provides useful financial information.
I've experienced traffic from around the world and received a payout without difficulties, which has contributed positively to my impression of the platform.
However, I haven't provided detailed commission rates or specific contest conditions, so I can't fully evaluate every financial aspect of its business model.
My experience has been encouraging, but the difference between high traffic and relatively few sales is still worth mentioning.
Recommendation to Other Content Creators
I recommend considering YourVids, particularly if you create content around specific fetishes or enjoy offering personalised content and themed bundles.
The platform supports a broad range of fetish categories, including stepmom-themed and other taboo content, according to my experience. Creators should still check the current content rules before uploading anything.
I also appreciate the option to import content from ManyVids and IWantClips, which can make getting started more convenient.
For me, YourVids is a platform worth continuing to develop, even though sales aren't frequent yet.
I'd suggest approaching it with patience, experimenting with its features and remembering that substantial traffic doesn't necessarily mean substantial earnings.
Review Conclusion
YourVids has made a generally positive impression on me during my first few months.
I enjoy its design, the option to switch to a dark theme, its extensive selling features and the ability to create bundles around specific interests.
The Fan Leaderboard, content analytics and custom video options are particularly useful for my working style.
I've also received a payout successfully, although my sales remain occasional despite the considerable traffic.
My main wishes for improvement are a webcam streaming feature and more consistent customer support, preferably with live chat.
For now, my rating is 3/5.
I'll continue adding content and connecting with potential customers because I believe the platform has possibilities worth exploring.
